The Role
We are looking for a Solution Consultant to be an integral part of Veeva’s sales team. In this role, you will support our Strategists and Account Partners as product experts in the sales cycle. You will work closely with our Strategy, Sales, Product Management, and Services teams to sell Veeva Vault, our cloud-based content, and data management software. Our customers use Vault PromoMats/MedComms to manage promotional and medical content within Medical Device or Diagnostics (MedTech) companies.
This role offers good growth potential in one of our fastest-growing customer segments. We are looking for an ambitious individual who will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoys team-based selling, is passionate about working with software.
What You’ll Do

  • Support the sales process by presenting tailored demonstrations of our products and solutions to Veeva’s MedTech customers
  • Build strong relationships with key personnel at our customers and prospects, acting as a product and subject matter expert during opportunities, both before and after demonstrations 
  • Provide compelling demonstrations, workshops, and proofs of concept of our Commercial solutions – Veeva Vault PromoMats and MedComms 
  • Participate in Veeva’s responses to Requests for Proposals for our solutions
  • Work with Veeva Strategists and Product Managers to provide feedback from the field that shapes our product direction
  • Support Veeva and industry marketing events as a participant
  • Manage demonstration environments as needed

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience relevant business experience working for a MedTech company or as a provider of services or technology to MedTech companies
  • An understanding of commercial operations in MedTech companies
  • Knowledge of the technologies used by Commercial teams in MedTech
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Willing to travel domestically 20-30% of the time, possibly more if you are located outside of our main MedTech customer locations

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of SaaS/Cloud solutions and technology
  • Prior pre-sales or consulting experience
  • Experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats, MedComms, or other similar software solutions 
  • Working knowledge Promotional and Medical content review and approval
