- Leading, designing, and building solutions to support Veeva’s business Partners
- Analyze business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software
- components and applications following the industry's best practices
- Design and build technical solutions across multiple platforms via REST API
- Design and implement cloud-based integration - Vault Java SDK
- Develop internal and external tools to help our customers and consultants
- Assistance to project implementations wherever technical needs arise
- At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent relevant working experience
- 5+ years of direct development experience with Java/Spring/REST; Design and consulting experience is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in designing/developing/deploying solutions to AWS Cloud (S3, Lambda, ECS, VPC, and other AWS services)
- Fluent in written English and good in oral English communications
- Bilingual with Japanese or Korean Speaking is highly preferred
- Expertise in relational databases or data warehouse products, like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, and Snowflake.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks, and hands-on experience in at least one of React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Familiarity with web security best practices to protect applications from vulnerabilities
- DevOps-related experience, e.g., designing and implementing the CICD strategy and hands-on deployment works.
- Work experience with people from different cultures globally
- Pharma industry knowledge, especially in clinical trials
- Customer service or consulting experience

At Veeva, we believe in giving back. Veeva’s support for charitable causes is entirely employee driven because we think giving is personal and should be directed by the individual. With our 1% Veeva Giving program, each employee receives an amount equivalent to 1% of their base salary annually to support the non-profit(s) of their choice. We don’t dictate favored corporate causes or ask employees to donate to specific non-profits. We never support a charitable cause in exchange for commercial advantage or preferential treatment.
