The Role
Veeva Systems is looking for professionals, who wish to become experts in the Veeva Commercial Cloud product suite, who have a passion for helping customers achieve their business vision, and who wish to participate in the transformation of the global Life Sciences Industry.
In this position, you will work as a Managed Services Consultant of our Professional Services Organization, providing post-implementation application consulting and technical administration as a subject matter expert of Veeva Commercial Solutions to the pharmaceutical customers located in China.
- Provide overall application expertise and knowledge to customer, serving as a trusted advisor for Veeva solutions.
- Engage with customer to gather, analyze, clarify business requirements, translate them into practical system solutions.
- Assess customer requirements against Veeva product capabilities and recommend best-fit solutions; Configure and implement system changes to meet customer needs.
- Provide industry and product best practice, proactively advise customers and educate on effective use of Veeva solutions.
- Partner with Veeva product teams to communicate customer feedback, identify product gaps and contribute to product enhancements
- Tier 2/3 application support, troubleshoot complex issues, identify root cause and drive timely resolution
- Environment management activities
- Support customer ongoing BAU administration and maintenance, including user management, security, territory management, reporting, integrations and bulk data loading.
- Ad-hoc training to educate customer admins and enable customer to manage the system independently
- Proactive identify opportunities to improve system performance, operational efficiency, and customer experience through continuous improvement initiatives.
- At least Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related degrees
- 5+ years working experience in the IT industry
- 3+ years software development experience with hands-on experience in Python/Java
- 2+ years of customer-facing experience (Requirement gathering, business analysis, stakeholder communication, etc.)
- Fluent in English verbal and written
- Hardworking and can-do attitude
- Fast learner, willingness to grow and open to changing priorities and environments
- Consulting experience, BA experience, Customer service experience
- Veeva CRM, Network, OpenData knowledge
- Knowledge and applicable experience in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences
