The Role

Veeva HCP360 vision is to improve efficiency in Pharma commercial business and to enhance personalized engagements based on the preferred channels and topic interests by HCP level.
 
As a Team Lead for one of our Data Operations teams, you will lead a remote team of 20+ freelancers who do rule-based research and data correction. You will design business processes and drive process improvements as well as technology improvements.
 
You plan and control these business processes and support their execution by removing barriers for your team members. Your primary focus is to improve process efficiency and reduce defects. As a first-line manager and servant leader, you deliver operational metrics associated with your process and results while keeping your team engaged.
 
To thrive in your role, you are highly motivated to lead and have a “can do” attitude. You are results-oriented, analytical, organized, and socially skilled. You communicate effectively with managers, analysts, and researchers.
 
The ideal candidate for this role has a strong interest in people management, a process-oriented mindset, and an excellent work ethic.
What You'll Do
  • Lead a team with a headcount of 20+ freelancers
  • Implement impactful quality and efficiency projects
  • Build a dynamic, proactive, and high-performing team
  • Own your team’s KPIs and its performance
  • Collaborate with the engineering teams on process automation
  • Escalate all risks and incidents early and unambiguously
  • Execute change with speed
Requirements
  • Extensive people leadership experience (3+ years)
  • Proven knowledge of business process design, management, and optimization
  • Comfortable working remotely in an international environment
  • Confident spreadsheet user (pivot tables, nested formulas)
  • Excellent communication skills in Japanese
  • Sufficient English read/write skill for internal communication
Nice to Have
  • Experience in life sciences industry (education or professional experience)
  • Experience in master data operation
  • Experience in using Upwork
  • Good verbal communication skill in English
