The Role

The Technical Consultant (Technical Services) will be a member of the Veeva Systems Professional Services group, working on consulting project teams implementing the Vault Systems suite of CRM applications - built on Veeva's Vault application platform to customers in the Pharma and Biotechnology industry. You will participate in business process due diligence, solution design, application customization, and documentation of end-user requirements to help deliver successful implementations. This candidate will also contribute to the technical development to support customer requirements leveraging the Veeva Vault platform developer tools such as Java and Javascript.

Qualified candidates will be located in Budapest, Hungary, working with our strategic key accounts across EMEA. There is flexibility to work both remotely and from our Budapest office, with some on-site consulting activities expected.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and extend application capabilities through Java-based solutions using the Vault Java SDK
  • Design and implement cloud-based integrations using REST APIs
  • Manage and support integration and development projects and resources
  • Provide subject matter expertise on the Veeva Vault product functionality and APIs
  • Work closely with customers to establish solutions at the business and technical level
  • Take complex customer and vendor concepts and articulate them to audiences of varying perception levels
  • This position is 70% Technical (drawing on technical and/or CRM product knowledge in advanced configurations of the Veeva Vault platform and development platforms), 20% Analysis, and 10% Project Management
Requirements
  • 2+ years of programming in Java or other object-orientated programming language
  • The ability to understand requirements and translate them into a technical specification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Degree in computer science, software engineering, MIS or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Work permit for the EU
Nice to Have
  • Experience working within Cloud Based Architecture
  • Experience with JS frameworks such as Angular, Vue, React
  • Hands-on experience with SSO and SAML
  • Integration/Programming experience with REST-based APIs
  • Experience with Spring and Maven
  • Experience with database design and workflow
