In this role, you will be the bridge between internal technical teams and external data partners, ensuring seamless data onboarding into our data network.You’ll be responsible for driving high-quality health data as part of our Product team, working closely with Engineering, QA, Data Operations, and the Data Partnership teams. You will have two key areas of focus:
Data onboarding - Designing and owning health data onboarding, focused on establishing a streamlined and effective process that brings data on with quality and speed. You’ll understand the details of data feeds we onboard, own the analytics for how new data affects our data network and identify product improvements to better assimilate new data. Data quality of our onboarded data - Define and oversee key quality metrics, monitoring and dashboards. You will act as a key technical point of contact, working directly with Data Partners to resolve discrepancies, align on data specifications, and drive continuous improvements to the quality and reliability of our data network.
- Participate in health partner data onboarding. Work closely with the Data Partner to understand their data and discuss the technical aspects related to it
- Own and design data onboarding features start to finish including user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, feature and mapping specifications, quality control checks, and data dictionaries
- Manage the overall initial data onboarding plan: release and sprint planning, manage the prioritization, communicate with Data Partners and mitigate technical risks
- Manage and improve ongoing processes of tracking data quality from all suppliers. Communicate to stakeholders detected issues and drive its resolution
- Collaborate closely with Health Data Partnerships, Engineering, QA, Data Operations and Product Management to ensure products are built and delivered with quality
- Build expertise on the inbound data, per data type (prescription, medical claims etc.)
- Establish quality metrics, monitoring and dashboards, and design roadmap and plan to drive continuous improvement of our data product
- Lead and execute ongoing data quality monitoring, managing stakeholder communications and collaborating with Data Partners to drive issue resolution
- Own the investigation and resolution of data observations and data questions
- 3+ years experience working on data pipelines, such as designing ETL/ELT processes, schemas, and analytics
- Exceptional leader, a clear communicator, forming relationships and influencing without authority across all levels of organization
- Understand data and data infrastructure, and experience designing transformations, mappings and working with reference tables
- Proficient in SQL
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Sigma
- Understanding of cloud based applications and designs
- Experience investigating data issues and working with Data Scientists as needed for complex analysis
- BA/MA/BSc/MSc in relevant fields
- High English Proficiency
- Experience in the Life Sciences industry, SaaS and/or enterprise products
- Understanding of healthcare data, including Rx Claims, Medical Claims and EHR
- Familiarity with security protocols and data privacy regulations
- Understanding of NoSql databases
