The Role

We are a fast-growing CRM SaaS company, the data product line focused on providing HCP (Healthcare Professionals) master data services for pharmaceutical enterprises. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Development Team Manager to lead and manage our Data Development Team. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of our HCP master data product and leading the team to develop and operate our future internal data production platform. This role reports to the Products & Development Head for the data product line.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the development team to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement of the HCP master data product
  • Participate in and support the overall planning, execution, and management of the Data Department, actively contributing to the achievement of departmental goals
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (such as Product, Sales, and Customer Success) to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions
  • Develop and implement data governance strategies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance
  • Lead the development and operation of the internal data production platform to improve data processing and analysis efficiency
  • Manage and optimize AWS cloud-based infrastructure to ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external data providers and partners
  • Cultivate team members' technical skills and professional development, creating a positive work environment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years of management experience
  • Solid knowledge and practical experience in master data management, with a deep understanding of best practices and challenges
  • Proficient in data warehouse design, development, and optimization, with familiarity in data modeling, ETL, and data quality management
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda
  • Familiarity with common database technologies (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data processing frameworks (such as Apache Spark, Hadoop)
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong teamwork spirit, able to drive the team to achieve goals in a dynamic environment
Nice to Have
  • Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare sector
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and SaaS product development
  • Experience in developing and operating large-scale data platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of data privacy regulations (such as PIPL, GDPR, HIPAA)
