The Role

We are hiring students into our Consultant Development Program (CDP) as Technology Consulting Interns – a role specifically designed for Bachelor's and Master's students in their final year of studies.

In this role, you’ll learn our industry-leading cloud platforms and work with cutting-edge AI solutions to transform how life sciences companies operate. Empowered from day one by a team-first culture, you will accelerate your career growth as a technical consultant who thrives in an environment where we work hard for our customers and each other.

Make a direct impact and partner with pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies to design, configure, and deliver tangible technology solutions that customers use every day. We also have partnerships with local universities which support internship requirements and academic credits.

We believe in empowering high - potential people to achieve excellence. No prior industry, technical, or consulting experience is required — you bring your drive, curiosity, and hunger to learn, and we will provide comprehensive training, structured education, and ongoing individual mentorship every step of the way. You will work in a supportive environment with experienced mentors and team leads dedicated to helping you succeed and grow.

This program will build the core consulting and technical expertise you need for long-term career success, with the potential for a seamless transition into a full-time Associate Consultant position upon graduation with no duplicate hiring needed.
    • Start Dates: Continuously hiring
    • Commitment: 6–12 months for at least 20 hours per week during core business hours
What You'll Do
As an intern on the Managed Services team, you will become an expert on Veeva’s technology. Under the continuous guidance and mentorship of experienced architects and project leads, you’ll work directly with customers to innovate and improve their business operations by:
    • Tailoring the software: You will configure our platform to fit exactly what the customer needs—whether that is turning on new features, organizing their information, or adapting the system to match how their business operates.
    • Testing & problem-solving: Before new features are released to a customer’s entire company, you will help them test those ideas safely to ensure everything works accurately and efficiently.

What We Are Looking For | We don’t require a specific academic background, tech skills, or life sciences experience. We require a specific mindset:
    • Drive: You thrive in a challenging, intense environment that rewards initiative and rapid learning.
    • Curiosity: You have a genuine desire to be hands-on with software and AI and to master new technologies.
    • Communication: You are fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Analytical Mindset: You are a strong critical thinker with a proven track record of academic performance (in any degree/field of study).
    • Integrity: Veeva is a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC) and a “do the right thing” company and we expect that from all employees.
    • Work Ethic: You are committed to excellence and have a passion for working hard to achieve results.
    • Experience: You are an active student at a Hungarian university pursuing a degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in any field and in the final year of your studies.
    • Availability: You are able to commit to at least 20h/week during core business hours.
How We Hire | Our process is different from most. It is designed to be fast, efficient and respectful. Here are the steps:
    • You submit your resume, short cover letter of questions, and take a personality test.
    • Within one week we will notify you via email if we would like to go to the next step or not.
    • The next step is a 90-minute interview followed by a case exercise. You will have three days to prepare for the case exercise.
    • Within one week after this step, we will give you an offer or let you know that we do not wish to move forward.
    • You will have two weeks to accept our offer or not. If you accept, we will hold a spot for you and expect you to show up on your start date. Accepting an offer and continuing to interview would be an ethical violation in our view.
    • Good performance in the intern program allows for transition into our CDP program with full-time employment.
Compensation
    • Starting Salary: Hourly rate 2,250 - 3,500 HUF

Work Where It’s Best for You

Work Anywhere means you can work in an office or at home on any given day. It’s about getting the work done in the way and place that works best for each person. This applies across all locations and departments.

Work Anywhere does not mean work at any time. We have predictable core hours where employees are generally available for meetings and collaboration. Employees are focused and available during core hours.

We invest in our offices to make them places where our employees like to go. If you work in the office three or more days a week, you will have a dedicated office workspace. Our offices function as hubs to draw people in, create social bonds, and where random connections and mixing of ideas happen. We’re investing more in offices, culture, and offsite meetings, not less.

Product teams are organized in regional product hubs for optimal collaboration and live within a time zone of their hub. Our current product hubs are located in Pleasanton, Columbus, Boston, Kansas City, New York City, Raleigh, and Toronto. We create opportunities for teams to get together in person regularly.

Customer-facing roles, such as Sales and Professional Services, live near and/or travel to their customers.

When an employee moves within a country it does not cause a change in salary. Where you live impacts you and your family. Not knowing if your compensation will change if you move can cause stress and uncertainty for everyone. We wanted to eliminate that.

Work at Veeva. Work where it’s best for you.

A different kind of company. A Public Benefit Corporation.

Unlike a traditional corporation, whose only legal duty is to maximize shareholder value, PBCs consider their public benefit purpose and the interests of those materially affected by the corporation’s conduct—including customers, employees, and the community—in addition to shareholders’ interests.

What sets us apart

In February 2021, Veeva became the first public company to convert to a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC).

Unlike a traditional corporation, whose only legal duty is to maximize shareholder value, PBCs consider their public benefit purpose and the interests of those materially affected by the corporation’s conduct—including customers, employees, and the community—in addition to shareholders’ interests.

Veeva’s public benefit purpose is to help make the industries we serve more productive and create high-quality employment opportunities.

At Veeva, we believe in giving back. Veeva’s support for charitable causes is entirely employee driven because we think giving is personal and should be directed by the individual. With our 1% Veeva Giving program, each employee receives an amount equivalent to 1% of their base salary annually to support the non-profit(s) of their choice. We don’t dictate favored corporate causes or ask employees to donate to specific non-profits. We never support a charitable cause in exchange for commercial advantage or preferential treatment.

Veeva’s core values — do the right thing, customer success, employee success, and speed — guide our decision making and define our culture. Doing the right thing means that we are concerned about more than just financial success and return to shareholders. We recognize a responsibility to customers, employees, environment, and society. As individuals, we pride ourselves on being good people who are honest, fair, and direct. We treat others with respect. As a company, we strive to be a good corporate citizen, a positive force in the business community, active in our communities, and an example to others.

Our equity program is designed to enable the vast majority of our employees to participate. Our unique approach to awarding equity grants allows our employees to be shareholders so they can benefit financially in the company’s growth.

Veeva has taken a strong stance against the use of non-compete agreements that can limit employee opportunities. We do not require our employees to sign non-compete agreements, and we have taken legal action to fight the unfair use of these agreements by other companies because we believe such agreements limit an employee’s fundamental right to work where they choose. We believe in our people and want them to be successful here at Veeva or wherever their careers take them.
