The Role
 
As the Director of APAC Commercial Strategy, you are the primary architect of Veeva’s growth across Singapore, Australia, India, and South Korea. Reporting directly to the GM APAC, you will own the regional go-to-market strategy for the Veeva Commercial Cloud portfolio. You are a market-facing leader tasked with winning the region’s most complex deals and ensuring our customers successfully transition to an AI-first commercial reality.
This is a high-visibility leadership role designed for an entrepreneurial strategist who can bridge the gap between long-term vision and immediate operational execution. You will lead the ‘Small Ops’ orchestration, aligning cross-functional experts in Solutions Consulting, Sales, Product, and Business Consulting to ensure our customers realize the full value of an AI-powered commercial ecosystem. This role will be based in Singapore with regional coverage and regional travel expectations.
What You'll Do
    • Define and execute a clear 2030 Vision and actionable Growth Plan for the APAC region, ensuring Veeva remains the foundation for life sciences commercialization
    • Act as the strategic connective tissue between regional Sales, Services, and Marketing teams to drive a unified go-to-market approach
    • Evangelize the future of Life Sciences, specifically the transition to AI-powered Vault CRM, to Regional Presidents and Commercial Leaders
    • Partner with Sales leadership to win key deals and architect the economic case for transformation, aligning technical solutions with C-suite business outcomes and ensuring long-term value realization
    • Set and manage market-level pricing structures, approving exceptions and negotiating complex commercial scenarios to protect and grow regional revenue
    • Lead continuous market analysis to identify emerging trends in Commercial Operations and adjust the APAC strategy accordingly
    • Collaborate with dotted-line leaders in Data Cloud and Business Consulting to build integrated solutions that solve the industry's most pressing challenges
    • Own the content, structure, and impact of our annual flagship Customer Summits
    • As a senior leader based in our Singapore headquarters, contribute to the energy, mentorship, and professional culture of the local office
Requirements
    • 7+ years of experience in professional sales / consulting / commercial leadership roles with the Pharma industry
    • Understanding of SaaS/Cloud solutions and technology with a proven track record of helping advise customers on adoption of new products
    • CEO mentality to drive outcomes internally and externally. Stays focused on results and drives execution among the team. Able to work with autonomy and adapt to change
    • Ability to critically think and develop a strategy and execution plan across all areas of business (Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Consulting, etc.)
    • Proven success in customer facing roles
    • Proven ability to influence and manage executive-level customers and stakeholders
    • Experience in Asia
