The Role

We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders. This customer-focused role involves managing key initiatives from conception to delivery, ensuring everything aligns perfectly with client objectives. The ideal candidate is a proactive collaborator who is relentless about tracking timelines, managing deliverables, and enforcing follow-ups. You possess strong leadership presence and are entirely comfortable holding people accountable to ensure project success and timely execution.

What You’ll Do

Project Oversight

    • Lead the end-to-end delivery of solutions, from project initiation through successful go-live and continuous improvement phases
    • Facilitate delivery and execution of new customer implementations, managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, enforces timelines, budget and quality
    • Monitor project progress, proactively manage risks and issues, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope
    • Ensure gaps, risks and timelines are clearly communicated with clear follow-up to task owners until completion.
    • Consistent review of overall project timeline and identify and communicate risks to project completion timeline clearly and with detailed steps to ensure success.

Relationship Management

    • Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with customers and internal teams.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between customer stakeholders and Veeva, addressing needs, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
    • Guide customers in adopting industry and Veeva best practices, with a focus on long-term value realization and process optimization

Customer Support

    • Understand project objectives, timelines, deliverables, challenges, and opportunities to deliver tailored solutions.
    • Proactively provide updates to timeline, project status, risks and gaps.

Collaboration and Coordination

    • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions.
    • Facilitate communication between internal departments to align on project goals and deliverables.
Requirements
    • B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent experience
    • PMP Certification
    • 5-8 years of project management experience in software implementation, with a strong background in project management and customer-facing delivery
    • Demonstrated success leading technology implementations
    • Pharmaceutical Speaker Bureau experience is a plus
    • Pharmaceutical Event Planning experience is a plus
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Professional and clear oral and written communication
    • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable project plans
    • Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and/or multitask often to meet fluctuating customer/company priorities 
    • Possesses strong leadership presence and are entirely comfortable holding people accountable to ensure project success and timely execution.
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Suite of Applications, Smartsheet
    • Must be able to travel and work onsite for customer meetings
Nice to Have
    • Familiar with health sciences and regulated environments
    • Maintain current knowledge of appropriate regulations, e.g., OIG, PhRMA Code
    • Fundamental knowledge of Veeva Commercial Cloud Product Suite including by not limited to Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, Events Management, and Engage
    • Ability to work and thrive in a team atmosphere
    • Positive attitude and maintain a “Whatever it Takes” attitude

Compensation
    • Base pay: $75,000 - $115,000
    • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
